We foster a relaxed learning environment and stress progression at your own pace. In-Car instruction is the standard for all beginners and you'll share the track with drivers of similar experience. NEW Instructors - please read completely

If you have not instructed for a Cherokee Audi Club Driver's School before, please contact Mark Kingsbury (Event Master) and include a driving/instructing resume if possible.  Only upon review and approval, will you be notified that you have been added to our system.  Only then will the "instructor" payment option to be shown when you register.  Please do not pay the student amount, expecting to instruct. (yes - it's happened...) While a refund can be made - additional costs will be incurred to cover the MSR percentage taken at the student amount.

Pricing:

Students - $435

Instructors - $150 (includes $75 deposit to be refunded after the event)

Helmets (*Please make note of updated minimum ratings)

Helmets must be worn at all times while on track. Minimum rating must be at least SA-2005. Cherokee Audi Club has adopted new minimum helmet ratings. If you own a helmet(s), please double-check the rating(s) in advance of registration.)

Convertible Requirements:

For such vehicles to be allowed to participate, the minimum requirements are:
1) A four point roll cage consisting of a main hoop behind the front seats with two rear braces.
2) A four and preferably five point safety harness.
3) Arm restraints are recommended but not required at this time.

Removable hard tops are not considered structural roofs. The only exception is if they meet minimum requirements set by the racetrack/motorsports facility. SUVs, trucks, and vans are not allowed.

EVENT REGISTRATION/TECH INSPECTIONS & DRIVERS MEETING:

Friday October, 30th - Location TBD (possibly at the track)

Tech Inspection:  Will begin promptly at 5 pm on Friday.  Saturday morning tech will be available for latecomers, but we HIGHLY suggest doing tech Friday night to make sure everyone gets all avaialble track time on Saturday morning.

Driver's Meeting:  Will begin promptly at 7:00 pm on Friday (also TBD, possibly at track)

We have a block of rooms reserved at a special group rate of $129/night.  But, rooms are extremely limited due to a home football game at UAB and a NASCAR race at Talladega the same weekend.  If you plan on attending, please book your room early!  Rooms will be held till the entire block is filled or Oct 15, 2009, whichever comes first.  After that date, normal rates and availability apply.

If you call, tell them you are with the "Cherokee Audi Club" and tell them we have a group rate that needs to be applied.
