NCC FALL TOUR 2011
Wintergreen and Mr. Jefferson's Other Home
November 5-6, 2011
The 2011 NCC BMWCCA Fall Tour will take us back to the beautiful Piedmont countryside and Blue Ridge mountains. The tour will be the weekend of November 5-6 and includes an over night stay at the Wintergreen Resort. On Saturday, we will visit James Monroe’s home, Ash-Lawn. We’ll lunch at Michie Tavern followed by a drive to Wintergreen. On Sunday, we’ll visit Thomas Jefferson’s other home, Poplar Forest.
The Tour itself will cost $105/person for both members and non-members alike and will include lunch at Michie Tavern, admission to Ash Lawn and Poplar Forest, and the reception and dinner at Wintergreen. Lunch and dinner will be buffets with a variety of options available (including vegetarian). Please note on your registration form any special dietary requests. Accommodations are on your own and Wintergreen Resort has a block of rooms for us at the rate of $139 (+ resort fee & tax). You may call now for reservations at 1-800-611-6888. Be sure to mention BMW Car Club Event. Wintergreen will guarantee the rate and our block of rooms through October 6, 2011 (before event registration ends), so call early to book your room.
The starting location is Manassas, VA at the Manassas Cracker Barrel. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m. and the Tour starts at 9 a.m. Coffee, food, and fuel are all available nearby. Directions to the start, route instructions, and additional information will be sent to all registrants the week of the Tour. Wintergreen Resort activities
Wintergreen Resort offers a range of activities including spa, golf, hiking, and others. Arrangements for all activities are on your own. The tour will end near Lynchburg and it is an easy drive back to Wintergreen if you are planning on spending another night. Event requirements
When registering, you will need to identify which attendees are BMWCCA Members, Associates, or are non-members. The cost is the same for everyone but the information is necessary for planning purposes.
If you pay via Motorsportreg and cancel based on the below policy, your refund will be the event amount less the 5% Motorsportreg fee.
