About this event

Event Description
Come join us for our 2010 Annual Awards Banquet! We'll be making a weekend of it by holding our annual meeting and banquet on Saturday afternoon, and following it up with a Solo event at Stratford High School. Anyone may participate in Solo, and anyone who has partcipated in a 2010-2011 SCR event is welcome to attend the Awards Banquet. Families are welcome too!
Attendance at the Solo is NOT required to attend the banquet, and vice versa. You will have an opportunity to select the events for which you wish to register later, though we hope you'll plan on making it a weekend with us!
On Saturday, we'll be holding our annual business meeting. If you're interested in helping SCR put on Solo, Time Trial, or Club Racing events in 2011, or simply want to know how the club conducts its business, be sure to attend this. As an added bonus, Carbotech will be conducting a seminar on brake setups for competition events. If you're interested in brake pad technology, or are looking for tips on a good performance setup for street/autocross, or more importantly, how to make brakes on your car last for a 20-minute PDX or Time Trial session on the track... this is for you!

Event requirements
Membership Validation
- When you register, MotorsportReg will be verifying your SCCA membership status against the National Office's member database. If you do not have a valid membership, you must select the "Weekend Membership" option before you will be allowed to complete your registration.
-
Your First Name, Last Name, and Member Number in MotorsportReg must match what is on your SCCA Membership Card:
- You can check your MotorsportReg info by clicking the "My Account" tab, then "Edit Clubs" and editing the information under "SCCA - South Carolina Region - Solo"
- You can check your SCCA membership info (and edit how your name looks on your card) by logging on to ams.scca.com
- If you are having trouble registering due to this new feature, or if you recently joined SCCA and your membership is still pending, please contact membership@scsportscar.com.
- Thanks for your patience as we implement this new process! This will make our on-site registrars even faster and more efficient, so we appreciate you working with us!
Rules
- This event is held under the 2010 SCCA Solo Rules.
- Please review the SCR Solo Supplementary Rules for specific details on event conduct, car numbering requirements, special classes (Pro, Street Tire), and event procedures.
- All participants must sign an SCCA Release and Waiver form. Minors (under age 18) must have a Minor Release and Waiver form signed by both parents in order to participate.
Sound Control and Event Conduct
- The sound limit for this event will be 95 dBA at 50 feet from the edge of the course. This limit will be strictly enforced for this site as we have had noise complaints in the past. Cars with open exhausts that have not been checked for sound recently should consider coming prepared to make modifications (in many cases a downturn will help tremendously) in case you exceed the sound limit on your first run. We will not allow any car to continue if it has two consecutive readings over 95 dBA. See the SCR Solo Supplementary Rules for further details.
- Please note that even though our rules already prohibit any kind of reckless behavior, we need to be especially careful this weekend about burnouts, excessive acceleration or noise when leaving the site, and other things that will draw unwanted attention to ourselves. Thanks for understanding!
Number Format
- For single driver, single class cars only one- or two-digit numbers will be allowed (0 - 99). If desired, drivers of the same car but in different classes (i.e., open and ladies) may use the same car number.
- Where there are two drivers in one car, in one class, then the second driver will be 100 plus the first driver's number (i.e., 99 and 199).
