"QuattroCross 2012", Sunday June 10th, sponsored by Motoring Unlimited.
This new autocross program is offered by Audi Club Northwest (ACNW) at the Monroe Fairgrounds/Evergreen Speedway. It is a an all-day event, limited to 50 cars, for just $60. Get lots of runs! Bring your own lunch. Membership required. Invite your friends to come out to watch.
No assigned instructors will be available at this event.
We will have a very large autocross course utilizing portions of the Evergreen Speedway ovals and figure-8 paved area. This will be another unique autocross with the camber of the banked track being used for the additional challenge it creates. The huge figure-8 oval will be used for the majority of the course. We are limiting registrations to 50 cars so there will be plenty of runs for everyone. Helmets are required for this Full Autocross (see below).
Autocross is a wonderful way to learn car control and enjoy operating your car near it's limits. Speed is limited by the course design, but it does not feel that way! This form of motorsport places a strong emphasis on car handling and driver skill rather than high speeds or horsepower. The course uses cones to mark corners that come very rapidly to the driver. Drivers are timed one at a time from a standing start through the exit from the course, typically about one minute in total. The timing equipment permits more than one car to be underway so the groups cycle quickly.
Most people that attend an autocross for the first time have never attempted anything like it. Many come back because it's just so much fun, and helpful for driver skill development and learning about how you and your car work together for a safer experience on the streets and freeways.
Audi-brand cars are not required.
Come out to meet us. Talk to other club members about the full calendar of Driver Education, Lapping, Tours, and social events that are part of the Audi Club Northwest experience. Feel free to invite friends and co-workers to this event. Admission is free to the facility, but everyone must sign the waiver when entering. You may be able to arrange rides for them with designated instructors to experience first hand what an autocross day is all about.

Event requirements
Everyone must sign the Waiver for Audi Club Northwest’s insurance coverage when coming onto the facility. This requirement includes drivers, instructors, teens, guests and visitors. Parents must also sign a Teen Waiver on behalf of participating teens. Teens must sign an acknowledgement. No exceptions. Please contact the Event Masters prior to the event with any questions.

Cancellation Policy for this event: It is the entrant's responsibility for preparing and bringing a vehicle meeting the technical requirements. If your car fails morning tech at the track and cannot be fixed, you will not be able to run and you will not get a refund.
No refunds will be issued due to halting an event for any reason - rain, incident, etc.
If you must cancel, please do so early so that we may allow another participant into your space. Any refunds due under the cancellation policy will be issued as soon as practical after the event.
Helmet requirement is Snell 2005 or later (SA, M or K) for the Full Autocross. Helmets are NOT required for the DE Exercises nor the DE Autocross in the afternoon. Club helmets are available in several sizes for rental on a first come, first served basis. Please specify a size when registering.

Note: When meals are a part of our events, ACNW will attempt to accommodate special dietary requirements if requested. However, meals are provided by third parties and circumstances may not always enable ACNW or its vendors to meet every special dietary need.
