Overview
This is an introductory class to introduce the basics of autocross. The class is free of charge. We will discuss the basics of what to expect at your first autocross event and introduce some basic driving fundamentals.

Saturday (Feb 7) - Novice Autocross School
Overview
This event is meant as basic instruction for newcomers to autocross. If you are looking to participate in autocross for the first time or have been autocrossing for less than a year, this event will be beneficial for you. We will walk you through each step of participation in an autocross, and allow you to practice certain basic course elements with the help of an instructor.
Be sure to sign up for our regular autocross event on Sunday, also at Summerville High School, so you can put your new skills to use!

If you request the "SCCA" rate when making your reservation, it will be $80/night (normally $109) for 2 people. This offer is good for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.

Event Rules
- All SCCA Solo Rules [PDF] apply.
- Please review the SCR supplemental rules for specific details on event conduct, car numbering requirements, special classes (Pro, Street Tire), etc.
- Drivers must be at least 16 years old to participate.
- All participants must sign an SCCA Release and Waiver form. Minors (under age 18) must have a Minor Release and Waiver form signed by both parents in order to participate.
- Sound limits for this site are 95 dBA at site perimeter. Drivers which violate the sound limit will be given an opportunity to quiet their car. Subsequent violations may result in disqualification.
