Come out and join us for our Car Control Clinic at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA on June 22, 2012.
This is a FUN FUN day. If you would like to learn some effective skills that will make you a better driver on and off track, this is a great place to start. This is our novice school that is a prerequisite for the High Performance Driving Schools held throughout the year. Come join us for an opportunity to learn car control techniques that are applicable to everyday driving and high performance driving.
Registration Fee: $125 ages 18 and up $95 ages 16 & 17
This year, anyone 18 years and older that completes a Car Control Clinic will receive a $30 credit to their Motorsportreg.com account to be applied to one of our High Performance Driving School events within the next 12 months. Be sure to register early to ensure your spot and use your credit!
Event requirements
Current members of BMWCCA may participate. If you are not a member, please consider joining. More information can be obtained at www.bmwcca.org.
Participants must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
Following the Car Control Clinic instruction, participants 18 years of age and older will be invited to “ride along” with High Performance Driving School instructors on “the big track”. Sorry, due to liability issues 16 and 17 year olds may not participate in this portion of the event.
Helmets are not required to participate in the Car Control instruction portion of the day. However, if you would like to ride with an instructor on the full track you will need to ensure that you have a SNELL 2005 or later helmet. A limited number of loaner helmets will be available at the track on a first come, first served basis.
Convertibles are allowed to participate in our Car Control Clinic.
Tech inspections are not required for the Car Control Clinic however it is a good idea to make sure that your safety equipment, brakes, tires, etc. are up to standard and in good working order. A quick check for fluid leaks may head off a potential problem that could ruin an otherwise great day.
