SIMA Series - Road to the Rok Cup & ENDURO RACE

SIMA will be wrapping up the 2014 season with an exciting 3-day event, featuring an Enduro race and Road to ROK Cup Awards Banquet!

The weekend will commence on Friday morning for open Practice. Saturday's race will follow the standardSIMA Summers Series schedule. Being the last race of the season, drivers will be grasping for points to clinch top positions in the 2014 Championship.

The 2014 SIMA Championship Awards Banquet will at Bob's Burgers and Brew in downtown Sumas. The event will be held at 7pm on Saturday evening. Exciting new awards will be handed out this year. Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Driver, Sportsman of the Year, Hard Luck Award, and Mechanic of the Year. Cast your votes for these awards by clicking this link. CAST  YOUR VOTE . Make sure you stick around for Sundays Enduro Races. Both 4 Cycles and 2 Cycles will have the opportunity to participate in an Enduro race. The one hour 4 Stroke enduro race will be open to all Senior 4 stroke drivers (see approved engines below)**. Teams can consist of 1-2 drivers. Registration fee is $100 per team. Tires rules as per SIMA Series Rules and fuel must be pump fuel. The overall winner will be awarded with a CLONE YELLOW ENGINE with flywheel. 

The two hour 2 Cycle enduro race is open to all Tag Sr and Tag Masters. Teams can consist of 1-2 drivers. Registration fee is $350 for each team and it will include a set of YKC Bridgestone tires and fuel. The overall winner will be awarded an Arrive & Drive seat in the ROK Cup Race held in Italy*. Value is approximately $3500 per driver! Arrive and drive packages are available @ $499 plus entry fee.

*Driver are responsible to cover flight, accommodation, damage and usage incurred to kart, meals and mechanic.Please note entries with two drivers will only be awarded one seat for the ROK Cup. 

** 4 Stroke Enduro must have 15 entries otherwise the race will be cancelled. 

SIMA SERIES - ROAD TO THE ROK CUP

In only its fourth season of racing, SIMA Series - Road to the Rok Cup is drawing over 60 participants per race. Part of its attraction is the $24,000 worth of prizes given away throughout the season. The biggest prizes are the four chances to race in Italy at the Rok Cup International Finals. These will be awarded to the Championship winners of Direct Drive., Tag Sr., Masters and Shifter. With the exception of the racing in France, prizes on not given to the winners, but instead randomly drawn at the end of each race day. Check out our sponsors page to see the list of amazing prizes!

Online registration closes the Friday night before the event. Pre-register a week in advance to save $25.

Sumas International Racing Academy (SIMA) cultivates a fun, laid back and competitive environment for all levels of racing. SIMA's goal is to re-establish the camaraderie in the sport of karting by strengthening relationships with family and friends who participate in the race day activities, encouraging clean and respectful driving and offering all those to attend the facility with friendly and first class service.

Race dates are a one day event, held on Saturdays. Gates to the facility open at 8:00 am. If your new tokarting, spectators are welcome (mandatory insurance bands must be purchased at entrance).

FREE FRIDAY - PRACTICE DAY

SIMA will be open for an official practice day on the Friday.  Practice will be free for those of you who decide to pre-register on-line.   Trailers & RV's are permitted to remain on the grounds overnight on Friday. Sign up for the practice day when pre-registering for the event.
