2015 SIMA Gold Cup & Winter Series 3
April 10-12, 2015
Welcome both SIMA Club racers and Northwest Gold Cup Region 6 racers. SIMA is excited to host its Winter Series Race 3 in conjuction with the 3-Day Gold Cup Event. This is a great opportunity to race against drivers travelling from throughout the Northwest. SIMA continously strives to offer its guests the best experience possible. We look forward to see you all very soon!

Event requirements
REGISTRATION
You can enter the facility at the driveway near the green and white farmhouse. Please watch for signs indicating which lane to select.
The LEFT lane will be reserved for drivers who have pre-registered.
The RIGHT lane will be anyone who has not pre-registered.
All pre-registerd drivers MUST have your IKF membership form printed and COMPLETED before arriving at registration. This will help keep the pre-registered line up flowing quickly. (SIMA club racers see notes highlighted yellow below.

- Three day format (Practice Friday with races on Saturday & Sunday)
- An IKF membership is required to particpate. You have a choice between a SINGLE EVENT or ANNUAL membership.

Race Format:
All Classes will run, Single Day Event Format. All classes will run one (1) Timed Qualifying Session, one
(1) Timed plus 1 lap Heat, one (1)Timed plus 1 lap Final either and or Saturday and Sunday. After post race tech
each day the winner of the Final/Main is the Overall winner for the day. The current IKF Regional Points system
will be used for each day of competition.
All Kid Karts will run two (2) Sessions during breaks and lunch times on Saturday and Sunday. This is a Fun
Class and No Points Will Be Awarded.
All Junior 4 Cycle and Senior 4 Cycles classes will run one day race format. All Junior and Senior 4 Cycle
classes will qualify; run one (1) Timed Heat plus 1 lap and One (1) Timed Final Heat plus 1 lap. First heat line
up is 50% invert of qualifying Senior Classes. Junior Classes first heat line per qualifying. Driver must complete
one qualifying timed lap to qualify for invert heat format. Points System Scoring for Qualifying and Timed Heat
will be per IKF Competition Rule 211.7 Optional “NorCal” Race Format to determine the line up for the Time
plus one 1 lap Final Heat. After post race tech the winner of the Final / Main is the Overall Winner for the Day.
Order of finish will is determined as specified in IKF Competition Rule 211.3.1. The Current IKF Regional Points
System will be used.
