About this event
This year will be a two day racing event on Saturday and Sunday, and a complete day of test and tune on Friday. Test and tune ($125) will start at noon (five alternating open/closed wheel session) until at least five o’clock.[More details here] During the weekend RMVR racers will have the chance to meet and race with some different competitors. All VMC eligible cars as well as exhibition cars are welcome.
There are 16 new garage spaces available in the main paddock area, just adjacent to the grid. Contact George Anderson (ganderson68901@gmail.com) to reserve a garage space.
The social aspects of the Hastings event:
- Friday night we will be hosting a reception for racers and local business leaders, who will be thrilled to see our cars. A free Barbeque dinner will be provided. And from 5:00 to 6:30 GoKarts for drivers and spouses. ($35 for two laps on one-mile curcuit, second session $20 - cash only.)
- Saturday evening, we will again have our famous Nebraska steak dinner. Purchase dinner tickets when you register. As usual George Anderson, the track owner, will have some more entertainment for us.
We will be having the raffle again this year, giving away a free race entry and other great prizes. All you have to do to get a raffle entry is enter the race by 12:00 noon on August 26th. The raffle will be held at the Drivers’ Meeting on Saturday morning. You must be present to win!
If you have not yet traveled to Hastings, you owe it to yourself to experience this event, to run this great track, and see how this local community welcomes us. We strive to make this a fun weekend with abundant track time as well as a great social component.
As usual, this year we are soliciting sponsors to offset the expenses of this event. Contact Diane Hively with any suggested sponsors. We do this to make sure that this event stays on the RMVR schedule. Of course the best way to insure that the race continues is to have a large number of entrants. We encourage eveyone to urge your racer friends to also enter. and share the Hastings Experience.

Event requirements
PLEASE NOTE: If the car you are registering does not have an RMVR logbook or a logbook from a VMC (Vintage Motorsports Council) organization, please contact eligibility@rmvr.com before completing this event registration. Many thanks.
- Late Fee Policy: $25 late fee will automaticically be charged for entries made after 10 days prior to the race. $50 if registering at the track.
- Cancellation Policy:On cancellations later than 72 hours before the event, the Race Entry Fee, less a $25 Cancellation Fee, will be refunded. Call 303-319-3062 for all cancellations.
