SCCA Atlanta Rallycross 2014 Event #4

Durhamtown Plantation

About this event

Don't miss this opportunity to have a little RallyCross fun at night!!  We have worked out a deal with Durhamtown so that anyone who registers and pays for the SCCA RallyCross on Sunday will get an invitation to Durhamtown's own "rallycross appreciation night" on Saturday night June 28th. The format for Saturday night will be more like fun runs under the lights.  We will have the water truck there to help control the dust.  There is also tent camping and cabin rentals available on-site.  Make it a full RallyCross weekend with Saturday night fun and socializing, then an SCCA RallyCross on Sunday!  Check Durhamtown's website for more information on camping and cabins. You can also post on the Atlanta region forum if you want to split a cabin.

Event requirements

1.  If you have a helmet, it needs to be per the SCCA rules 6.3.P - basically a 2000, 2005, or 2010 Snell rated helmet.  We'll have a couple of loaners that you can use for your runs.

2.  Drivers are reminded that unless you have a window net, the windows need to be at least within 1" of being all the way up.  Of course you need to keep your hands and any other body parts inside the car.

3.  Recording devices must be mounted to the vehicle.  Holding your cell phone to record a run is a no-no.

4.  Your car will be inspected to ensure that it is safe to drive.  If you're battery tie down has gone to battery tie down heaven, get another one.  A bungy cord isn't gonna work.  Your battery needs to be held securely.

5.  If you're running street tires, please inflate them to at least 40#.  Anything less and you risk debeading during a run.
