Race Car Track Time - May

Putnam Park Road Course

About this event

Track Time for RACE CARS ONLY.

If you need to turn a few laps and you don't want to spend a ton of money or the whole day, here's your event!

Formula/purpose built cars (FF, FA, DSR, SRF, etc.) will run separately from production based cars (GTx, ITx, STx, SM, etc.). Gates open at 10:30AM. Event begins at 12pm and runs until 4pm. $150 entry gets you 1 hour of track time with garages available for $25. $275 gets your 2 hours of track time and a FREE garage for the day.

**Event entry is limited to 15 cars per class**

This event is sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America, Inc.  We welcome non-SCCA members!  Come. Join us for some fun with cars.

UPDATE!!  4/26/16: We're adding two hours to the front of this event.  Now, gates will open at 10:30AM and the track will go hot at 12PM.  You can purchase one hour of track time or TWO.  The second hour is discounted ($125 and includes a FREE garage space).  AND...we're offering track credits for referrals.  Here's the deal:

Refer a friend who enters and you'll get a $25 credit for each referral!  Get 6 friends to enter and I'll give you your choice of a free second hour AND garage or a free hour in the future (either at a Race Car Track Time event in June or July OR the August PDX).  Sweet deal huh?  Oh yeah....and you don't even have to enter the event to rack up these credits!!  Seriously.  Get people out to the track now. Make money. Drive at a later date when you have enough credits (I'm looking out for you Mr. Spent-all-my-money-building-a-car-and-now-I-can't-afford-to-drive-it man!! Street car broke racers and Race car broke racers are included in this deal)

Now, go dig those race cars outta the garage!  Post to the forums. Beat the bushes (er....sheds?).  Phone a friend. Call in a solid....  Here's the registration link:  msreg.com/testntune1 spread the word.  Post everywhere....Fly my pretties!  Fly!

Event requirements

Race Car events are ONLY open to drivers with prior track driving experience (Race, HPDE or PDX experience).

NOVICE DRIVERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO DRIVE THIS EVENT (we're more than happy to help you get that required track time in your street car at the Track Night in America event later in the evening though. Go to tracknightinamerica.com to sign up for the evening session that allows Novice drivers).

ALL CARS must conform to Track Trials/Hill Climb safety equipment rules.  Rules can be found here: TT/HC Rules  or here 2016TTR_TT_HC.pdf

PASSING - open passing with point by.  We are limiting the number of cars for this event to maximize your open track and minimize the need for passing (max = 10 cars per session.  Track length = 1.76 miles, 10 turns).  Due to sanctioning regulations, violation of passing rules will result in immediate black flag.

Timing - NO timing available for this event.
