Kart Pre-Race Practice Day Pass: West Coast Kart Club (WCKC) - Greg Moore Raceway
Note: The day before each WCKC Club Series Kart Race is a Karts-only practice day.
This reduced rate Karts-only Day Pass is available on selected Pre-Race Practice Days (normally the Saturday before each WCKC Club Series kart race).
Before buying this pass consider a WCKC Annual General Membership for $150 + 5% GST instead (karts only) - General members may practice free at each Pre-Race Practice Day (approx. 9 per year) and are eligible for reduced race entry fees. - This Day Pass must be purchased by any non-WCKC member driving on track at a Pre-Race Practice day. WCKC General Members do not need to purchase this pass.
- Pass is per driver, not per kart.
- Pass is valid only on the day purchased.
- Pass to be used only under the direct supervision of a key-holding WCKC member or a WCKC approved dealer-member. If a WCKC Track Supervisor is on duty, they may act as your supervising member.
If you purchase this pass and then decide to enter the race the following day, the cost of this pass will be credited to your race entry (Guest rate Practice day + Race fee).
Event requirements
Important insurance and safety rules for Pre-Race practice days:
- Everyone on track or in the hot pit lane must sign the waiver at Registration or posted on the results board at the tower. Parents, list and sign for your Junior age drivers on the waiver.
- Junior (15 years old or younger on Dec 31 of the year) and Seniors must not be on track at the same time.
- No more than 10 vehicles on track at the same time.
- Sessions shall be no longer than 10 minutes when a group is waiting.
- There must be at least one adult (age 19 or older) spotter observing from pits and with a mobile phone able to call 911 at any time a vehicle is on track.
- Do not drive your kart in the pit/paddock area. Karts must be pushed to and from the hot pit and scales areas.
- Track Supervisor will set the track direction and configuration - see signage at the hot pit and do not drive any other direction or configuration.
