This event will be the annual NNJR-PCA 2015 AutoX School at MetLife Stadium - (Giants Stadium) - Lot "L" <-- note change
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT ( and has been) with a LONG WAITING LIST.
Since it is a school, we are strictly limited on participation - so the likelihood of moving from the waiting list is small.
Registration Tent opens at 8AM.
This is a unique event, typically run once a year. Its both a school, and an opportunity to practice your driving and autocross skills with an unusually large number of runs.
To allow us all to spend more time driving, and have plenty of instruction, attendance will be limited to 50.
The event will include:
1. "classroom' / chalk talk"
2. handling, braking, slalom, exercises (specifics of the course TBD). Unlike the Car Control Clinic, these will be integrated into a single course, Autocross style.
3. an Autocross, but with an amphasis on lots of runs, instruction and practice.
4. an optional social gathering afterwards (contact newmember@nnjr-pca.com)
Autocross is a great venue to learn how to drive your car and learn - car control, proper braking techniques, how to calculate the proper line, and how your car handles at the limit (or beyond) all in a relatively safe environment. We will have instructors available to coach you. (Be sure you talk to your instructor about what you want to learn!)
It's also a great & FUN way to learn your car's true potential, and have a fun day with your friends - even if you are not a "competitive" autocrosser.
But don't be surprised if the friendly competition grows on you :-)
Our events are open to non-PCA members and non-Porsche cars, but NNJR/PCA members will have priority.
Fees are $90 for PCA Members or $95 for non-PCA members. You must pre register and pay online. Refunds will not be processed, but if you notify us early and we can fill your slot, we will issue a credit toward a future NNJR-PCA Autocross program event.

If you do not want to deal with the complexities of classing your car, simply select "FUN" - you will still receive your times, but you will not be competing with others in a class.

Event requirements
All you need is a car (does not even need to be a Porsche), and yourself! You should have appropriate shoes (driving shoes or sneakers are fine...no open toe shoes). Short-sleeves and shorts are OK. If you have a 2005 SA or M rated helmet, please bring it. Otherwise, we have a few loaner helmets available. Balaclavas will also be available for purchase.
