Philadelphia Region SCCA is holding a general membership event at NJMP to introduce our members to Club Racing. You are invited to come with us on Saturday April 1 or Sunday April 2 or both! Participants will have the opportunity to learn about each of the volunteer race worker positions in club racing, including flagging at a corner station on the track, helping grid the cars in qualifying order, working in the Pits, or in Tech, or in Timing & Scoring. You might choose to work two specialties a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
We need to know who is coming so we can have your name on the access list at NJMP.
In 2017 we would like to see many of our members have at least one club racing experience, and possibly consider adding one of the SCCA worker specialties to your resumes. Highly experienced Philly Region members will be at the Drivers School and would introduce you to the specialty chiefs or other experienced people in a specialty.
Philly Region is looking to rebuild its core of club racing workers so that at some point we, as a Region, can return to putting on SCCA Club Races and you can be a part of it.
Please plan to arrive at the track (registration) no later than 8am. Bring your current SCCA membership card and wear long pants, closed toe shoes and a shirt with sleeves. Expect a full day of activity.
Lunch will be provided to workers both days, and there will be a participant party at the track on Saturday at the conclusion of all on-track activities.
Please sign up on MSR by March 27. The info will be transferred to SJR for inclusion in their track access list and lunch count.
As a bonus (as if hanging around race cars for the weekend wasn't enough), you will receive 1 free Philly Region SOLO--II or Road Rally entry if you work at least 1 day of the 2 days.
The South Jersey Region SCCA is also holding a PDX (track day) and you are welcome to both drive in the PDX and participate in our volunteer worker program. If you want to drive in the PDX, please go the SJR web page and follow their instructions to register.

Please plan to arrive at the track no later than 8am. We should be done by 4pm both days.
Event requirements
In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:
- You are 18 years of age or older and can sign our waiver
- You can devote a full day to the event
- You are a current SCCA member
- You enjoy race cars
