As I'm sure EVERYONE is aware, Portugal won the EURO2016 football tournament in July. The North Atlantic Audi Club will help you celebrate this momentous victory by hosting a south shore Fall Tour, starting in Fall River, MA and ending in New Bedford, MA. These are among the top three Portuguese heritage cities in the United States.
Along the route, we'll pass by the remnants of Newport's US Naval presence and related honky-tonk, and the opulent Newport mansions, built just prior to the enactment of the federal income tax in 1914. Then we'll return to serenity and visit scenic New England harbors and shorelines, such as Sakonnet harbor and Acoaxet in Westport. As an added treat, we'll pass by Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyard and stop for a tasting at Westport River Vineyards & Wineries, two highly regarded and award-winning local wineries. The tour will conclude at the Waterfront Grille in the port city of New Bedford, the long-standing number-one fishing port in the United States, to sample the fresh seafood (and other dishes, for those who have not 
yet learned to love seafood).
This October 15th tour will start at Friendly's Restaurant, 135 Mariano Bishop Boulevard, Fall River, MA 02721. We'll gather at 10:30 AM, with a planned 11:30 AM departure. The registration fee, to defray the cost of the winery tour and tasting, is $15.00 per person.
