Event Format
This is a sanctioned Sports Car Club of America Solo event held under the 2016 Solo Rules and 2016 R&S/SPS MiDiv Solo Series rules, supplemented by the following regulations. A minimum of three runs each of the two days will be allotted.

Site Information (Very important and a must read)
Directions to the site: Exit Topeka Blvd, go east on Gary Ormsby Dr. and turn SW onto Joey Chitwood Dr. Everyone entering the site must stop at the Tunnel Entrance to sign the HPT waiver.  Pass through the tunnel and turn left (south) on the third roadway to take you to Registration and Tech at the Tech Building. Parking is a first come first served basis. Vehicles may be left overnight, but no guarantees of security are implied.

Overnight camping Camping inside the facilities for $5 a night per person.  Access to Tech building, bathrooms, and showers.  An informal potluck dinner on Friday is planned.

Local Services
Gas stations, car wash, grocery, restaurants, fast food and a O’Reilly auto parts store are all located just a few miles north of HPT on Topeka Blvd. Racing fuel should be available at HPT.

Safety and Conduct
Spectators and competitors not working must view the course from outside the designated course area. Speeding, burnouts, tire-warming, and other inappropriate activities at or near the site are potential grounds for event disqualification at the discretion of the series solo steward, event chairperson, safety stewards, or their designees. In grid and paddock, please drive slow and be mindful of people, cars, equipment, and oncoming traffic sharing close quarters. Be aware that youth karts are anticipated entrants, and that no vehicles may be in motion during their runs. A limited number of loaner helmets will be available. If using one during a run, please return it to the loaner helmet area.

Oil spills on the pavement must be wiped clean. No tires or trash may be left on the pad. Jack stands and trailer jacks should be supported on the pad so as not to damage the asphalt.

Run/Work
Run/work assignments will be pre-assigned based on the entry list, and in a manner that balances heat sizes and worker coverage. Changes in class or no-shows may demand a change in heat arrangement. Workers should be ready to report for work before their heat begins. Heat change overs will be brief. Please listen for announcements made by the Chief Of Workers and be on time for your work assignment. Lateness may be taken as a no-show, and result in a disqualification.

Vehicle Identification and Marking
Car numbers and class must meet the minimum requirements outlined in the Solo Rules. Shoe polish is not acceptable. Cars must display the applicable series contingency decals consisting of: SCCA (with wheel) on front, and then on both sides for the following R&S Racing and SPS. Decals will be available from Tech and the event sponsors, and will be checked during tech inspection.

Impound and Protests
Results will be posted on the timing and scoring trailer during each heat. Immediately report discrepancies to the event chair or his designee so that they can be brought to timing and scoring for review. Please do not bother the timing and scoring trailer during competition. After competition runs all cars must remain in their grid spot until released by grid personnel or if required will be directed to the scales for weighting.  If equipped, cars must have their trunks and hoods open after their last run of the heat. Protests must be reported immediately to the chief of grid, event chair, or series Solo Steward for review by the series solo steward.
