About this event
The Hurricane in Savannah is our annual 2-day Fall event at Roebling Road Raceway. Entrants will run in one of three Vintage Groups: big bore, small bore and open wheel. Saturday morning practice will be followed by Saturday afternoon's qualifying and Feature Races. 3 sessions on Saturday! Sunday morning includes the VDCA Enduro with the Sunday sprint races in the afternoon. There is no additional charge for the Enduro or dinner Sat. evening at the track.
We are also inviting SCCA/NASA/BMW/Porsche/etc racing drivers of closed wheel cars to come for open testing in their own run group.

2-Day Event Pre-Registration for both Vintage and current Test Day entrants is $250. Checks sent through the mail must be received by Friday, Sept. 5th. On-line payments may be made up until on-line registration closes Sept. 8th.
Co-drivers must register separately.
Event requirements
All vintage entrants must be members of VDCA and hold a current competition license and current racing medical. Entrants new to the club, must submit verification of competition credentials and a current medical with doctor’s signature. Minor drivers, 16-18, must complete a minor waiver signed by their parents or legal guardian. We honor all Vintage Motorsport Council (VMC) member licenses.
Test day entrants do not need to become VDCA members but must show a current SCCA/NASA/BMW/Porsche, etc. wheel-to-wheel racing license at registration. No exceptions. No Lemons or Chump car licenses. These entrants also do not need to submit vehicle registration forms, but must present a valid vehicle log book at registration and tech. Closed wheel cars only are eligible for the Test sessions..
VDCA cars must be vintage correct and race prepared . See our website for complete preparation and safety equipment guidelines. Vehicles not already on file with VDCA must be accompanied by a Vehicle Registration form. VDCA honors annual techs from VMC member clubs.
