Ray’s on the River has been a destination for Atlanta dining enthusiast for years. Please join your fellow Peachtree Section members for a memorable holiday luncheon amid the terraced gardens of the restaurant property overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Lush landscaping and mature trees hide the proximity to I-285 near the Northside Drive and Powers Ferry exit. Executive Chef Josh Warner, who has seventeen years of culinary experience and a long tenure with Ray’s on the River, will prepare lunch. Chef Warner completed his culinary studies at the Art Institute of Atlanta and sharpened his skills working with Atlanta area notable chefs before joining Ray’s staff. Chef Warner served a seven-year stint as Ray’s sous chef before being selected as executive chef ten years ago.
As we did last year, this is Peachtree Section’s opportunity to recognize our loyal newsletter advertisers who will again be our guests for the luncheon. In addition to the section annual awards presentation, special recognition will be accorded to members present based on their tenure with Peachtree Section and the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. Door prizes will again be presented courtesy of our advertisers.
We will have a private cash bar that opens at 11:15 am. for those early arriving attendees. Lunch will be served at noon with attendees selecting their faire from entree menu selections of:
- Oven Roasted Chicken with natural Pan Gravy
- Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Lemon Dill butter Sauce
- Slow Roasted eight ounce Prime Rib with Au Jus
Entrees feature seasonal vegetables with a starter field green salad and a choice of either key Lime Pie or New York Style Cheesecake for desert.
Beverages of coffee, tea or soft drink are included for a faire of $40.00 attendee.
Again, please bring an unwrapped toy that the section can contribute to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots Christmas toy drive.
