Event requirements
Training for the Street Survival School is now formalized. This is intended to ensure consistency in how the information is provided to students. Completion of the training program is mandatory for in-car coaches and recommended and encouraged for exercise leaders.
The training program is created and maintained by the Street Survival School and can be found here: Tire Rack Street Survival School Training for Coaches.
This course is designed to give you some insight into the mind of a contemporary teenager and to provide you with some tried and true coaching techniques for this special audience. By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Identify what the Tire Rack Street Survival program is
- Identify how to effectively coach a teen driver
- Identify the driving exercises and their purpose
If you have already taken this training and have the certificate, congratulations!
