NEQ Fall Adirondack 300 Drive (and More!)
Great cars, great roads, great fun and all with great people!
Sponsored by Audi Albany
Please join us on Saturday, October 1, 2016, for the NEQ Fall Adirondack 300 Drive, where we'll drive through some of the best twisty and scenic country roads the
Adirondacks has to offer.
This all day drive was planned with all drivers in mind. If the “curvy road ahead” sign gets you excited, roads like the ones through Ilion & Frankfort Gorge, Blue Ridge Road, and Ensign Pond Road are sure to please. Even if the twisties aren't at the top of your list, the scenery will be just as impressive as the roads. Fall in the Adirondacks is a feast for the eyes. The views of the red, orange, and gold backdrop contrasting the mountain lakes and rivers, bring travelers from thousands of miles away to observe nature’s beauty. The stunning panorama of Lake Champlain at the Crown Point State Historic Site is a sight you won't soon forget.
Bring the family for a day of fun in your Audi, a day of great driving doesn't only happen at the track. (We encourage you to obey all traffic laws)
...And that's just the beginning! This event has something for everyone: the drive, bag lunch, banquet dinner, breakfast, and museum tour. Better yet, everything is a-la-carte; do as much or as little as you want!
The drive will depart from Little Falls, NY at 10:00 AM (full details will be communicated through email). There will be a short drivers briefing before departure. Maps & directions will be distributed at registration. Although not required, all participants are encouraged to use a 2-way (FRS) radio, which will be provided.
After the first leg of the drive we will stop in Speculator, NY for an informal lunch stop (picnic) overlooking Lake Pleasant. The available lunch option, provided by Timberline Café & Bakery in Speculator, gives you a choice of the following sandwiches: roast beef, tuna salad, curry chicken salad, ham & cheese or a veggie wrap. All meals come with chips and a brownie for dessert. Meals are all $10 each. Lot’s of specialty coffees and drinks sold separately at the shop. Please order your lunch on MSR. See the attached Box Lunch Menu for more details.
