About this event
Our Driver Education at Buttonwillow Raceway Park is sponsored by Santa Barbara Porsche for PCA members, with and without Porsche cars and non-PCA members, with and without Porsche cars. All cars must have fenders. No Formula cars are allowed by our insurance. Instruction will be provided for up to 30 students depending upon Instructor availability. Maximum entry is 90 with 4 run groups. All students will be in one run group. Others must have prior experience with us, a PCA Racing License or a signed off Driver's log book. 2017 DE rules require helmets be Snell 2010 or 2015. Helmets are available for rent at Buttonwillow Raceway.

Event requirements
We follow PCA DE guidelines. We suggest you get your car tech'd prior to the event. We charge $75 for tech at the track on Friday morning. Download the tech form at our website http//cccr.pca.org or directly at ccc.pca.org/de-forms/ There will be a no-charge tech at SGS in San Luis Obispo on May 16, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:00 for CCCR members. There will also be a no-charge tech Thursday evening at the track (May 25, 2017). CCCR members are not eligible for this tech.
You must register prior to Monday, May 22, 2017 to qualify for a free tee shirt. After this date, you may still register but no free tee shirt.

There will be a GGR DE & Club race on the Saturday and Sunday following our event. Registration will be via MotorsportReg.com for the DE portion. For the Race, the entry may be made through PCA Racing.
