Join the Houston Region SCCA for The Abominable at MSR Houston. The action-packed event features a Friday PDX and Club Races & Club Trials on Saturday and Sunday. This will be a Twister event, with Saturday running Clockwise and Sunday running Counter-Clockwise.
Saturday night, stay for The Thawdown in the Clubhouse featuring gumbo, s'mores, and good times.
We will be partnering with MSR Houston to help collect new, unwrapped toys for the Brazoria County Toys for Tots. Participants are encouraged to bring a toy, and will receive a discount on their entry fees. Spectators will gain free admission to the event by bringing a donation as well.
Please note, MSR Houston Test & Tune Registration is located here: http://msreg.us/SCCAtt1214. The test and tune will only run Clockwise.

Event Costs:
Divisional Saturday or Sunday Only- $225
Divisional Saturday & Sunday- $420
Second Entry per race day- $150 (A second entry is defined as another entry on the same day for the same driver, but different class. For example, HP & FF or SM & STL)
PDX Friday (6 sessions)- $150
*Instructors will get a free session at the end of the day.
**Volunteers can trade two days of work for a free PDX day.
Club Trial Saturday or Sunday Only (3 sessions)- $125
Club Trial Saturday & Sunday (6 sessions)- $250
SCCA Temporary Weekend Membership- $15
*PDX or Club Trials participants are required to be SCCA members, for at least the weekend.

7 am - 8 pm: MSR Houston open
7:30 am: Registration opens for PDX and Test & Tune in MSR Houston Main Office
8 am: Mandatory PDX Meeting in MSR Houston Clubhouse
Track Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm

:40 - Closed Wheel
*Lunch break from 12-1 pm

5:30 pm - 8 pm: Registration open for weekend entrants in Houston Region building

This race will be a TWISTER! That means we will be running CLOCKWISE SATURDAY, and COUNTER-CLOCKWISE SUNDAY. Please be aware and let your fellow competitors know the track direction.
6:30 am: MSR Houston opens
7:00 am - Noon: Registration opens to all entrants in Houston Region building
*Express Registration will be utilized, so bring your logbook!
7:15 am: F&C Meeting at control building
7:30 am - Lunch: Tech opens in the garage next to registration.
*Scales open at 10:30 am, pending qualifying impound.
8:00 am: Groups 1-6 Seamless Practice (15 minutes)
8:00 am: Mandatory Club Trials Meeting in Clubhouse
10:00 am: Club Trials Session (20 minutes)
10:25 am: Groups 1-6 Seamless Qualifying (15 minutes)
12:25 pm: Club Trials Session (20 minutes)
12:45 pm: Lunch Break
1:35 pm: Club Trials Session (20 minutes)
2:00 pm: Groups 1-6 Divisional Race (25 minutes or 15 laps, whichever occurs first)
*Trophies can be picked up at Tech
5:00 pm: Saturday Night Thawdown in the Clubhouse- Everyone is invited to join us for seafood or chicken & sausage gumbo, s'mores, beverages, and good times.
8:30 pm: Track Closes

NOTE ON ELIGIBLE CLASSES: The SOWDIV now recognizes all regional classes from every division. If your class is not listed above, or if you have any question to where your car fits, please register in the “Other” class online. You will be contacted and placed in the proper race group at a later date.
