About this event
Our last points-event rally of the season will be a GTA (Games, Touring Adventure) rally through the Central Bucks area. We'll be starting out in Yardley/Washington Crossing and we'll work our way north. This rally is a bit different than most in that your checkpoints will be farmers' markets and orchards along the way. We've kept the registration fee extremely low in the hopes that teams will support the markets along the route. This rally will run about 70 miles and take most teams a little over 3 hours to complete. We'll wind up in the Perkasie area for lunch and awards.
The route will have some trivia to complete and will use our region's typical general instructions. This will be the perfect event for a novice team to give road rally a shot but it will also be challenging for the more experienced crews. This rally will be on paved surfaces only- there will be no unpaved roads on this route. Bring out the shiny cars!
Our event is limited to 20 teams. Sign up early!
We're starting early so this won't take your entire Saturday up.
Registration opens at 9:00 AM at the Yardley/Washington Crossing Park 'n Ride and the first car is off at 10:01.
The cost is low, the roads are very fun, and the farmers' markets have very good food to buy. No excuses, come on out!
Event requirements
Cars must be in working order and be insured with auto insurance policy with liability limits of not less than $20,000 /$40,000/$10,000 (no exceptions). Each entrant must certify that the car entered is on the road legally and is either owned by the entrant or is being used by the entrant with the owner’s permission. Each vehicle participating shall have two and only two participants. Children ten years of age and under may ride with their parent(s), without counting against the maximum limit of 2 participants, but we'll need the names of any minors at the time of registration. Any participant under the age of 18, however, must have a minor waiver signed by both parents. Minor waivers can be found here.
